Evening

Hey guys,
Today we again had a CAS session. This session was enjoyable. The students which we were teaching were very interested in studies but I didn't have much time to interact with them. My students were Rahemeen and Mansi. Smart kids.
Apart from then it was an ordinary day. Me and Manjari started playing basketball for real. Mom has a train to Delhi tonight. I am so bloody happy. I have a million things to do. We had a Yoga session last night. It was supposed to calm our mind or something. I fell asleep twice, whereas Seerat fell asleep thrice.
Now I am gonna watch another session of Nodame Cantabile or something.

Two Weeks Done

So it's a Tuesday.
For me, Tuesday has many different interpretations. It's the day I wash my hair and condition it. It's the day I count weeks by, here in Pathways.
Two weeks done, and god, I have had enough.
I am tired of the food, and am getting used to it.
I remember my friends but I am too occupied here to miss them.
This place is so fucking tiring but all i want to do here is work even harder.
I mean what the hell is wrong with me?
There are people who really like it here, and there are people who are homesick.
And me? I am forever stuck in the middle.
Somehow, I had a great ending back at Pathways.
I didn't even accept Jayanti Jaya''s facebook request.
I am going crazy.
Nah, I am way too smart to go crazy.
There is a lot of issues and stuff which I need to sit down and take care of but right now, I am just drifting through time.
I went to this college advisor today and she told me that, in order to do that, I have to be outstanding.
It sure is hard.

Charades

Today is a sunday and despite yesterday's tragedy, the atmosphere here in Pathways is mostly relaxed. Though there are many students here from Nepal but none of their families have perished. However they are all saddened because of the huge loss there country has faced. I was also worried because earthquakes in Nepal, don't just stop there. Bihar is also, always under harm. Last night, we were all scared out of my wits so I slept in my friends room since both my room mates  had gone home for the weekend.
This morning after reading the news, seeing that about 2ooo people had died, my friends, three of whom are from Nepal, felt very sad. To light up the mood, we started playing charades.
Dev, Seerat, Pukhraj were in my team and Nishit, Anushka, Manjari, Ashwini and Yuvraj were in the other team.
It was a strictly Indian film game and the name of the movies which we gave were hilarious.
Our team gave names like Havrah Bridge Se Latakti Laash, Tashan, Sookhe Nale Me Behti Laash,
Angur, and some more which I don't remember.
The opposing team gave names like Jodha akhbar, 2 bigha zameen, ganji churli ke lehrate baal and other strange stuffs like that.
it was fun. Half of the guys from my pre-term class have gone home.

Origami

After library, we had MFL. our Spanish teacher went above and beyond ( mostly beyond) to display his knowledge and completely complicate our brain.
Next was Maths.
Not my cup of tea is all I have to say.
That is if I ever drank tea which I don't.
It lasted a long while and I am thankful for the Lunch break aftewards.
WE had delicious noodles ans rice with gobhi manchurian.
I just loved it.
After lunch, we had DT.
DT stands for Design and Technology.
It was our first class in that subject.
We were all given an A3 size of sheet and were asked to make it to A4 size.
Some people started folding the A3 paper from all sides and then measuring it to the A4 sheet.
Some started to cut it.
I just folded it.
There, job done.
Now, before I go on, I should introduce my teacher like a good student.
His name is Gavin and I don't remember the title.
He is from Britain and is according to me Hyper active but without doubt a great teacher.
His class was so much fun.
he gave us all the assignment t make something from paper which would withhold the weight of a duster.
There were only 2 students successful out of 24 and I was one of them.
Next he asked us to create something that we can sell.
I made a Photo frame.
Actually I was just folding paper around all corners.
It was an epic fail.
Next he showed us a basketball hoop made from paper.
I was the first one to do it without any assistance.
He was all like, "Now let's applause for that young lady over there."
Next he made a box and asked if we wanted  to learn it.
He only taught half. I was the only student to complete it.
Twice.
Actually, I made everything twice.
Once for me and the other for Viren.
It was fun.
Gauri is going to gurgaon tonight to attend a wedding ceremony.
That leaves me alone for the night.
Let's see how that turns out to be.
Now I am going to make some more paper boxes.

Library

I am now in the library.
Last night, after dinner, we had a session on Earth Day. We had a session on global Citizen Awards right now. I feel still sleepy, and tired.
Today, we had chocolate pancakes for breakfast. They were delicious.
I am sitting next to Aaron. He's from Australia and has got a hard accent to understand but is seriously funny.
I am still listening to the Empire theme song.
Aaron's also listening to it.
We again have a 80 minutes long Maths class again.
I can sleep on the floor.
I am supposed to write for this pre-term magazine or some stuff but I am super tired.
Today I am gonna stay late and do it.
Now everyone's playing footsie.
I am winning.
The people here are seriously nice.
Ish called me last night.
He also left Patna and is living in Kota.
He asked me if there was anything like ragging going around here, and was surprised when I told him that it was the opposite.
Now, I am running out of things to write about.
So later.

Birthday Party!!!

We just had a birthday in our dorm.
The girl whose birthday it is, is a very sweet and humble person. I like her a lot.
Right now, I am listening to No Apologies by The Empire cast. I love it's tune.
You know the best part of having  a birthday party in my school is??
You get god food and delicious chocolate cake.
yum.
My maths class was as boring as predicted.
Today I skipped sports in lieu of an hour long power shower.
I feel so good now.

Super sleepy

Last night, after dinner, we had a game of tambola adjacent to the tennis court. it was hugely boring but there' this guy, my friend who won three times. He got two chocolates and an Appy.
Atleast he was decent enough to give me one.
I fell asleep last night at around 11 something and both me and my room mate, we woke up late buy i still feel super sleepy.
Next, we have an 80 minutes long Maths class. God save me.

Adapting

I just came back from sports.
I had tried tennis for the last week, but it didn't click.
Today,i felt really angry so I put all my frustration out on the basketball.
I made like 30 shoots out of 40 or 50 tries.

Right now, I am listening to Stay Beautiful by Taylor Swift hoping to calm myself.
It works for me.
Now it's Cory Montieth singing Don't dream i's over.
It's really hot these days.
I am glad for the Ac in my room.

For friends who are celebrating with me

so I am leaving my city because i got a admission to this seriously elite school and i catch a train to the capital tomorrow but instead of pouring out tears or lamenting or simply ignoring me, my friends are here to spend as much time with me as they physically can. we have this group of four, a guy i grew up with forever, my girl bestie and this amazing crazy guy whom i had a crush on but am now his life coach (no kidding). So my bestie is a late sleeper but these other two guys managed to get me kicked out of my old school, (impossible), get caught by the police, go for a bike ride (the needle at the speedometer was seldom less than 90 and the speed limit in the whole city is like, 40 so, thrilling) have cheap, delicious food, then took me to watch fast and furious 7 and are now coming over with chicken lolipops for me ( i love them). I just want to say to everyone that while i dont have like 400 best friends, 5 maybe, but it isn't about the quantity but the quality. So, Kavya, Ish, Anshu, Ayush, I know you guys are too busy partying out or studying or being a famous socialite or entertaining every one but man, I love you.
